FAQ

Common Questions, Answered Straight

Sorted into what people usually ask before they book, and what tends to come up once someone's actually on the calendar.

Before You Book

Q1Why does one person handle both the fitting and the build?

Because handoffs are where things go sideways. If the person building your club never watched the fitting, they're working from a piece of paper instead of a memory of how you actually swing. Keeping it to one craftsman removes that entire failure point.

Q2Do I need to bring anything specific?

Your current clubs for whatever you're testing, and shoes if you have golf-specific ones. Beyond that, we can work from a general sense of your game — exact numbers aren't required going in.

Q3Do you fit left-handed golfers?

Every category on the bench has left-handed options in stock, and the launch monitor reads either direction identically. No extra scheduling or workaround needed.

Q4My current clubs seem fine. Is a session still worth it?

Yes — a fair number of our appointments are exactly that. Someone wants to confirm a set still matches their swing after a few years, or just wants a lie-angle check without any intention of buying. That's a normal reason to come in, not an edge case.

Q5Are you open through the winter?

Year-round, and winter is actually when the calendar fills up fastest. There's nowhere outdoors to test in a Sioux Falls January, so the indoor bench becomes the only realistic option for most of the season.

Q6How far are people willing to travel for this?

We sit near S Louise Ave and W 41st St, and a solid portion of our clients come in from Brandon, Tea, and Harrisburg on top of Sioux Falls proper. It's an easy drive from most of the metro area.

Once You're Scheduling

Q7How much time do I actually need to set aside?

A single club usually wraps inside an hour. A full iron set runs closer to an hour and a half, and a complete bag rebuild can take up most of an afternoon depending on how many candidates we're comparing.

Q8Am I obligated to order anything after the session?

No. You keep your printed numbers either way, no strings attached. If you do decide to order a build later, the session fee gets applied toward it rather than charged again.

Q9Once I place an order, how long until it's ready?

Standard builds typically take 48 hours since everything's assembled on-site from parts already on the bench. Bigger orders or specialty parts can push that out a bit — we'll tell you upfront if that's the case.

Q10What happens if a new build doesn't feel right after a few rounds?

Come back within three weeks and we'll adjust lie, loft, or length at no charge while you get used to the new specs. That window covers the normal adjustment period most golfers need.

Q11Can you check a club I already own without a full fitting?

Absolutely. A quick standalone check is easy to schedule on its own, or we can fold it into a larger session if it's related to something else you're getting fit for.
